Lighthouse, a thriving parkland-style course designed by Ian Woosnam is located on the dramatic limestone cliffs overlooking the Black Sea. Although the Lighthouse has only been around since late 2008, already the course feels fully developed and many of the holes are lined with mature trees.
The course measures 6720 yards and with a par of 71, the course offers a variety of different challenges and interesting hole layouts, enough to test golfers of many different abilities. Players will always need to take into account the indecisive breeze from the Black Sea in order to put together a good scorecard. The greens at Lighthouse are certainly worth a mention; large, fast, true and undulating. Lighthouse is definitely worth a visit upon your next golf holiday to Bulgaria.
