Maspalomas golf course has wide fairways and 6,417 metres off the back tees, this is a course that long hitters will enjoy. An excellent holiday course, perhaps one to play on the first day to dispel any cobwebs that may have gathered on one's game or clubs during the winter! Not too difficult to score well on as the course is reasonably forgiving to errant shots. There is however a par 3 over water, and bunkers, numerous picturesque palm trees and the ever-present sea breeze come into play frequently. Flat and easily walkable, Maspalomas is a very enjoyable and relaxing course, but it has also hosted 2 European PGA Tour events - testament to its quality. Make sure it's on your list next time your on a golf holiday to Gran Canaria.
