Close to Golf del Sur, and like its neighbour, has held the Tenerife Open. Views of the sea are offered from almost every hole and on the par 3 5th, you have to carry over it. There is a desert feel about Amarilla with the scrub off the fairways, although the landing areas are wide enough to hopefully avoid retrieving too many balls from the awaiting cacti. There are some superb holes on Amarilla, and with the sea breeze frequently affecting play, this is an excellent test of golf.
