Costa Adeje is possibly the island's most spectacular course, designed by renowned Spanish golf architect Pepe Gancedo who made full use of the natural terrain and bizarrely, a number of old agricultural stone walls, to create an absolute gem. The course features doglegs and large greens, which are heavily guarded by water and sand, as indeed are the fairways. You can easily be distracted from the task at hand by the views of the neighbouring island of La Gomera, the Atlantic, Playa de las Americas and the Adeje mountains. The course is invariably in superb condition and should be played whilst on a golfing holiday in Tenerife!
