Yes, the holiday as in previous years was a great success.  Although we were down to 8 this year the group  thoroughly enjoyed Tavira - especially the evenings in that the town has an abundance of good local restaurants - spoilt for choice.  The golf courses were challenging and/but possibly a little bit too long for us ageing golfers!  The consensus of opinion is to repeat the exercise next year going again to Tavira, so I am sure I will be in touch towards the end of the year.

Just to confirm that we did indeed throughly enjoy our Golf Escape from start to finish.  We were collected from the airport, as arranged.  The hotel (Elba Sara, Fuerteventura) was clean, tidy and very well run, with attentive and well trained staff.  The food was good and varied, the all inclusive being excellent value.
The golf course, although very busy, was in excellent condition and again well run and organised with some challenging and interesting holes.  We were collected from the hotel, on time,as arranged.

We’d like to say how much we enjoyed our trip, everything ran very smoothly, especially the transfers and shuttle buses. The golf courses were excellent and the staff very friendly.

We got back from Spain last night and while it’s fresh in my mind I thought I would give you some feedback [not sure if I did last year].  Gran Hotel Benahavis is an excellent place, with a wide choice of restaurants only five minutes’ walk away [uphill, but downhill coming back].  We all said we would be very happy to return there.  It has two pools; you can sit out in the sun and out of the wind, but it also has plenty of place to sit in the shade, without having to move constantly to keep under the shade!  Everything about the place is very spacious.  We did not eat there, other than breakfast, but met a friend of ours who was staying there on our last night.  They had eaten there and said the food was good. The two car arrangement worked well.  Both cars were “estates”, which was necessary.  So long as the cars are of that estate type it gives us some extra flexibility over the van arrangement.  Having restaurants in walking distance also helped the drivers.  Of the golf courses, Valle Romano is very stylish and everything about it shows class.  It’s a good golf course to play, well-maintained, although it does have a couple of “crazy golf” holes, including the first, which is a bit silly since it slows up everybody right at the start.  We all said though that it would be worth playing again.  It’s only been going a couple of years but I suspect it will improve over the next five years.  El Paraiso is more “established” and in a more mature residential area.  We all thought the course was OK, benefits from not being hewn out of a mountainside / valley, but was a little tired and not so well maintained.  We would probably choose somewhere else on another occasion but no-one actively disliked it.  Overall it was one of our most enjoyed trips so thanks for unearthing all the components.  Best regards,

I have been asked by all the boys to pass on our thanks for a brilliant week’s golf in Cyprus. From start to finish Nick and the team around you have been nothing but fantastic. In these days of being very quick to complain I feel it only right to acknowledge a job well done under very trying circumstances sometimes. The flights with Thomas Cook all on time and very professional, Jack’s Taxi waiting, Hotel staff great even though they were not expecting us until 21.00, the rooms all ready with golf & sea view.  The Golf , well what can I say we all loved the course and by the end of the week a lot of us could quite happily played again and again. The par 3, 7th was very kind to me 2 pars 1 double bogey and a fantastic birdie, very close to a hole in one. So once again please pass on my personal thanks to Nick for all his hard work.  We will most certainly be in touch about the next trip.

Thanks for your "Welcome home". It was a super trip. The IC Santai has nearly finished it's refurbishment, and it proved to be a good base for us. The courses we selected all came up to expectations, nearly !! Carya, Montgomerie, Cornelia & Tat were excellent. The National had just hosted the Ladies Open.  It was a great 95% experience,we are always searching for that elusive 5% ! We had a super time and our friends enjoyed it as well. Montecastillo is superb but the problem is getting there as we do not travel from Stansted. The course is super except for the long climbs between holes especially towards the end which meant we needed buggies on some days which at 39 euros is a bit steep.  Food and hotel very good,  but I think we will be back in Portugal next Christmas /January with another gang of 4 couples.

Everything went swimmingly at Cornelia Diamonds (including one or two of my golf balls)!  The holes on the Faldo were a bit the same and very tight.  The fairways were also crowned and so anything slightly offline disappeared into the woods or the wasteland.  We liked the National but loved Carya.  Your agents were first-class and were prompt and at our service.  The rooms were excellent with good facilities and a separate loo, bath and shower.  The staff were excellent throughout.  Not all the hotel's facilities were operational but we knew that before departure.  I thought the a la carte restaurants were a waste of money at €10 per person extra as there was a magnificent broad spectrum of food in the buffet restaurant with speciality grills providing fresh fish, poultry and kebabs.  Vegetarians could have a field day also.  I suspect we were a couple of weeks early and the middle of April would be better timing.  The courses were very busy at this time of year and the rounds would take up to 5 hours which we did not mind as they are long and we played from the white tees which made it more difficult for us.  Thanks to all your staff for their help.  We will be back.

Just returned from an excellent golf holiday in Belek, Turkey. Just got back from our holiday at Valle del Este Almeria. What a place, real Spain not full of tourists and wonderful countryside, it was great, and we were upgraded to a suite which was just perfect, thank you so much.........you can uncross your fingers now.  I have to say we were very surprised how quiet it was in the hotel; there were only 9 people for dinner the first night, a few more people arrived later in the week. It seems it's the low season till the end of June which is surprising as it was perfect weather for golf. Any hotter and it would be uncomfortable.  Anyway the holiday was so good we are thinking of going back later in the year, which is something we never do as we like to visit a new place each time.

Just some feedback from what turned out to be a fabulous trip at Sueno Belek. Hotel was great, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, food and drink excellent. Courses were top notch, beach area and promenade very nice. It began as our dearest trip yet but ended up as the cheapest. I spent £10 when I arrived for a visa, didn't need my wallet again until I was back at the airport on the way home. Terrific value for money, I would highly recommend it.  Only downer, flight times and bloody Easyjet!!! So, thanks very much, I'll be in touch early next year.

We had a fantastic time, everything went very smoothly with regard to transfers, etc. and my husband and his fellow golfers thoroughly enjoyed the courses picked for them. Desert Springs and Valle de Este golf courses were really very good, but we found Aguilon not in the same class (probably single figure handicap golfers would find it an interesting challenge!) A special word of praise must go to all the staff at Desert Springs who could not have been more helpful or welcoming, and the standard of accommodation was really very good. I just wanted to say that we had a lovely time in Islantilla; the weather was pretty kind to us.  The hotel was very good, and probably the best food we have ever experienced in a four star.  We were very impressed with the service we were given by your company and associates from the moment we got off the plane.  No queuing at car hire desks just sitting down with an agent and going through the paperwork. Also the organisation of the golf tee times.  It all went very well.   We would just like to apologise for not meeting with the rep later the first afternoon.   Having had a very early start, I am afraid we fell asleep by the swimming pool.  Perhaps you could pass on our apologies. We found the courses very interesting, enjoyable and varied.

Just thought you would like to know how we enjoyed our golf holiday to the Cornelia Diamond Resort and Spa in Turkey. Whilst the hotel is very large, it was not full and therefore not too crowded. The food was excellent, the rooms superb, the staff most attentive and your representatives who picked us up from the airport, took us to the golf courses etc. were excellent -- always on time and very helpful. The golf was fantastic and the courses were all very beautiful and at times quite challenging. So, all in all, a fabulous trip and everything went according to plan.
