Golf Holidays in Portugal

Once again, the tremendous value for money offered in the Algarve made this golf destination number one for Golf Escapes clients in 2016. There is a perception that golf here is expensive. It is true that if you walk into the clubhouses in Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo during high season, you may be taken aback by the green fees requested.

However, the low prices we are able to offer with our Algarve golf packages do not reflect the high quality of the courses and service. Most of the courses used to be located in the central Algarve; however, there are new regions with great selections of courses: in the west, new courses such as Boavista and Morgado have complimented the more traditional layouts of Penina and Palmares, and in the east near Tavira, there are now SIX excellent courses with the addition of spectacular Monte Rei. Options off the links are varied too - traditional Algarve fishing villages mingle with holiday resorts and everyone seems to walk around smiling, whether local or tourist.
