Boavista opened at the beginning of 2002 to much acclaim. Indeed the greens are already recognised as among the area's best.
Umbrella pines, blossoming almond, fig, palm and olive trees line the rolling fairways, weaving their way between water hazards and shrewdly placed bunkers. Very natural in design and with stunning scenery, but can be a tough challenge for high-handicappers with some long carries. Universally popular and a must when in the western Algarve.
