This is a new luxury development north of Tavira. The plans are for a village of luxury houses (€€€), a five-star hotel and two golf courses.
The first course is the Algarve's first Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and opened in Summer 2007. The course features five lakes bordered by indigenous trees and plants. Naturally, in addition to all of this, there is a driving range and extensive practice facilities. We have been lucky enough to play the course twice already and without doubt this is one the finest golf courses we’ve ever played, from the moment you tee off, the holes just seem to get better and better. If your budget will allow, this really is a must play!
