Formerly known as Ria Formosa, the terrain of the North course with the characteristics of the Algarve's sandy soil, covered by pine trees, heather, and wild flowers is identical to the South course.
Not as long as its sister course, and not quite as challenging, the North has several interesting doglegs. Tight in places, accurate driving will be rewarded. Quinta do Lago North is a very pretty course and an excellent alternative to its more illustrious sibling, the South Course.
