A 27-hole complex, Vila Sol is one of the most requested courses in the Algarve.
Another Portuguese Open venue, Vila Sol has some truly memorable holes with picture postcard views from many tees. The work of the famous English architect Donald Steel, Vila Sol winds through an immense pinewood, in which fig trees, oaks and almond trees also feature. It is a typical inland golf course of the British variety with narrow fairways demanding accurate driving; with lakes and bunkers, as well as fast greens, good scoring is not easy. Beautifully maintained.
