The Vila Gale Albacora is a gem of a hotel in a quiet serene location, 20 minutes east of Faro, and just a five-minute drive from the delightful town of Tavira in the Eastern Algarve.
The Albacora is the result of the restoration of old fishermen's houses in the Ria Formosa National Park. Among many unique features, you can catch the hotel's boat for the two minute sailing across to the superb island beach opposite or to Tavira! This is an excellent choice for couples and families looking for a quiet restful holiday in natural surroundings and is the ideal base from which to explore the new top quality golf courses that this area close to the Spanish border is producing (5 minutes to Benamor, 10 minutes to Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, 20 minutes to Castro Marim and Monte Rei). The hotel is closed from 01 Nov 11 - 28 Feb 2012. |
