When you enter Lisbon by road, it's a bit of a shock... scruffy tower blocks and desolate wastelands next to modern office skyscrapers; to be honest, it looks like a third-world city. However, the city centre is a typical of a Latin capital - an electric mix of atmosphere, exotic smells, traffic, upmarket stores, modern shopping centres and a vast array of attractions and sights. When you book your golf holiday, Lisbon is worth at least one visit if you are in the area and if possible, try and stay the weekend. You'll be glad you did! |
