Almerimar golf course is an extremely pleasant holiday golf course designed by Gary Player.
The course is not too challenging and can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities, although the feature hole is the par 3 12th island green. The course is easily walkable and very scenic with exotic palm trees lining the wide fairways and with views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, which are snow-capped for six months of the year. The greens are large and plenty of bunkers, four water hazards and some interesting dogleg holes complete a very enjoyable experience. Stay at the Almerimar hotel and receive free golf at Almerimar, this makes a for a great value golf holiday to Almerimar. Handicap certificates are not required.
