Golf Costa Brava was one of the first courses in Northern Spain, built in 1968. The front nine is quite challenging with fairways tight and tree-lined, but the course opens out on the back nine. The club has a feel of a traditional British members' course and is very pretty and easily walked. The clubhouse is extravagant by Spanish standards, and the 19th has fantastic views over the 18th. The course is private with limited access for outside players, but the welcome is very warm.
