Montecastillo Golf is the very first Spanish course designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus, who describes it as one of his best.
It is a test of golf for the most accomplished players but is equally enjoyable to all levels of golfer.
The course is set in 395 acres, with a typical Andalucian landscape for each player to enjoy a scenic round of golf. With its abundance of bunkers, water and rough specially designed to make life tough for the pros, Montecastillo is a course to be played, respected, and loved and should be the first on the list for any golf holiday to Spain’s Costa de la Luz.
The Montecastillo golf course is held in high regard and had hosted the Volvo Masters for five consecutive years as well as the Peugeot Tour for 3 years to emphasises its prestige in the Spanish golf circuit. Located only 15 minutes from the city of Jerez and onsite to the Barcelo Montecastillo Hotel, the course is within easy reach for a golf break in Cadiz.
