The nearby town of Jerez is world renowned for its sherries and brandies, and a fifteen minute drive will take you to the historic centre of the town with its tapas and wine bars. Although modern, the hotel has a very authentic Spanish feel, and is very much a romantic hideaway hotel. Montecastillo is known for its excellent facilities, personal service and beautifully appointed rooms, and is a refreshing change from Spain's built up coastal resorts.
