Isla Canela golf course is close to the border town of Ayamonte, Isla Canela is a fairly straightforward course, which high handicappers enjoy.
This is easily walkable with only a little undulation. There are some excellent dog-leg holes and great views of the beach and forest. Isla Canela is renowned for good greens and an excellent clubhouse, and it's not too difficult to play to your handicap if the wind is quiet. The course is invariably in excellent condition. And the location ten minutes from the Portuguese border bridge means that this is a good option for those staying on the eastern Algarve too.
