La Reserva de Sotogrande Golf Course Holidays

La Reserva is built into the hillside of the Andalusian Hills of the Costa Del Sol. The Course produces breathtaking views from of the surrounding landscape and out to the Mediterranean Sea.

La Reserva is an 18 hole layout that was designed by acclaimed golf course architect Cabell B. Robinson. The course opened to golfers in 2003, and has become extremely popular with golfers all around the world as its currently ranked in the top 15 Courses in Spain.

The course measures 7350 yards from the back tee’s & is the longest course on the coast, however there are five tee positions ensuring the course is playable for golfers of all abilities. The course has wide sweeping fairways, that is accompanied by large greens with challenging undulations that will catch out even the very best of golfers.

Everything ran like clockwork, thanks to Golf Escapes.

La Cala Golf Resort, Spain, was just about the perfect venue for our latest golf trip. Just back at my desk after a four day trip. Everything ran like clockwork, thanks to Golf Escapes. The hotel, the spa and most importantly the three golf courses at La Cala were excellent. Each hole seems to have fantastic views and nearly every hole has a wow factor. I'm not sure who decided to design a golf course on such a plot of land but I'm glad they did. This might be the first place we will be returning to.

We had a great time.

Hotel, transfers & courses were very good. Our golf could have been better. My friend will be taking the reins for next year’s trip. We may extend by one day. Lauro was the easiest, Chaparral was fantastic but a bit tough for some of our higher handicappers. Torrequebrada was probably our favourite. Hotel was excellent. Staff & food/drink were good. The shuttle company were excellent.
