Finding the right holiday
Question 1 How do I book a holiday?
Answer 1 You can book your holiday either by sending us an email, fax or giving us a call. Our dedicated reservations agents are available 09.00 - 17.30 Monday to Friday and 09.00 - 16.00 Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Question 2 How do I get a price for my chosen holiday?
Answer 2 The prices displayed on this website are given as a guildline only. Please either call us or use the 'get a quote button' for a confirmed quotation for your chosen Golf Escape!

Answer 3 If you are not sure where you would like to go, please call one of our dedicated reservations staff, who will be happy to give you advise and different options.

Golf information
Question 1 Do I require soft spikes?
Answer 1 Yes, all courses in Spain & Portugal will require you to wear soft spikes. If you turn up with out these, you may be refused on the course.

Question 2 Do I need a handicap certificate?
Answer 2 Yes, the majority of courses will ask to see a handicap certificate. If you are unable to produce a certificate, you maybe refused on the course and no refund will be issued. Please also be aware that some courses have an upper handicap limit. We will advise you of any unusual requirements when you make your booking.

Question 3 Is there a dress code?
Answer 3 Please wear standard golf dress. If you turn up wearing jeans and trainers you will not be allowed on the course!!

Question 4 Will there be course maintenance?
Answer 4 From time to time courses do need to carry out maintenance works so that they can maintain their standards. We will make every effort to inform you if the courses you are due to play will be under going works. Although we are reliant upon this information being passed to us!

Question 5 How far will I have to drive to the golf courses?
Answer 5 This will very much depend on where you are staying and on which courses you are playing! Generally we recommend courses within a 20 minute drive. But if there are any courses that are exceptional but a little further to drive, we will advise you and give you the option! Guildlines are given for the Algarve and Costa de la Luz Huelva golf courses. Please view the golf courses for this information.

General holiday information
Question 1 What documents do I need to take with me on holiday?
Answer 1 All clients will require a passport, a driving license (if applicable) & handicap certificate. If you are not a UK citizen you will need to check with us prior to making a reservation as to whether you will require a visa for entry into Spain or Portugal.

Question 2 What luggage allowance will I be allowed for my flight?
Answer 2 If we make your flight reservation, we will advise you of the policy of your carrier and any additional charges that relate to carriage of golf clubs. If you make your own flight arrangements, please check with your carrier their policy so that you are not charged for any hidden extras at the airport!

Question 3 What time can I check in at my property?
Answer 3 The standard time that you can check into your room is 16.00. However if the room is ready prior to this the hotel will normally allow you to have your keys! If you do arrive early at the hotel, you can normally leave your luggage with reception.

Question 4 What time do I need to check out of my room?
Answer 4 The standard time for vacating your room is 10.00. If the hotel is not full, you maybe able to keep the room for a few extra hours. There is normally a small charge which is payable locally. Alternatively you can leave your luggage at reception if you have a later flight.

Payment Information
Question 1 What form of payment do we accept?
Answer 1 We accept all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch & Visa Delta. Please note for payment by credit card, there is a surcharge of 2% (no charge for debit card). This will be automatically added to the total price. Alternatively you can send a cheque made payable to "Golf Escapes Limited". However, please be aware that for all late bookings made within two weeks of travel a cheque will not be acceptable.
