Carnoustie - Championship Course

The Carnoustie Championship course is a natural seaside links course and is considered by many to be one of the world’s most difficult golf courses. The course has hosted many tournaments over the years and a round here is one that you definitely will not forget.
 
The Carnoustie Championship course is Carnoustie’s shining star and it really isn’t hard to see why with its spectacular layout including a few brilliant closing shots that will make or break your round. This challenging course boasts cavernous bunkers, the Barry Burn snaking through the course and each of the 18 holes has a unique and difficult layout that you will have to navigate successfully in order to score well. Although this isn’t one of the most scenic courses in the area, it is an extremely tough one and not one to be taken lightly, especially for those with higher handicaps. This is not a typical out and back course but is one that offers variety both in terms of direction (can be handy when the wind is in play!) and changes in natural ground elevation which can make things interesting. This is brilliant and well-maintained course that will provide you with an unforgettable challenge each and every time you play a round here.
