Redesigned by Von Hagge and Rick Baril in 2001, the Cinnamon Hill is an expert layout along the West coast of Jamaica. At this fantastic course you will experience the very best of Jamaican golf with a mix of links and parkland style play.
The front nine weaves its way along the coastline, completely open to the elements with the cool ocean spray hitting your face. The back nine heads through a tropical Jamaican landscape and the lush green mountain terrain with the wind whistling through the trees. The back nine offers tight fairways and numerous strategically placed bunkers to bring out the very best (or worst) in your game. Positioned over 100 metres above the Caribbean Sea the course presents panoramic views from every tee box. The course provides a real mix of parkland and links style making it worth challenging more than once of your next Jamaican golf holiday.
The Cinnamon Hill Golf Course is a well-known and popular layout amongst the locals. This traditional course enjoys a relatively open design flanked with treeline fairways (particularly the back nine). The attractive features, monuments and high maintenance here makes it a great course, along with the several memorable holes along the way of course.
The Cinnamon Hill golf course offers a splendid golfing experience from start to finish, whilst protecting the heritage and natural environment of this beautiful part of Jamaica. Look out for the aqueduct which winds through the course, the Rose Hall Great House from the 2nd tee, and Cinnamon Hill Great House, the second home of Johnny Cash for over 30 years. The courses redesign in 2001 took into consideration the preservation of the local sites, flora and fauna to ensure a natural round in Jamaica.
