Spanning 6,113 yards off the yellow tees and 6,450 off the white tees, The Mackintosh Course is the longest of our two Parkland courses. The course gets its name from past Cottrell resident, Alfred Donald Mackintosh of Mackintosh the 28th Chief of Clan Mackintosh and Chief of Clan Chattan. Living at Cottrell until his death in 1938, Mackintosh made his Welsh seat a centre of lavish entertainment and social gatherings. The Mackintosh is a True Parkland par 72 course with mature trees up to 300 years old. The course provides 6637 challenging yards off the Championship Tees and is designed around the original features of the historic parkland.
This well constructed course includes four Par 5s, four Par 3s and ten Par 4s, making the Mackintosh a testing but enjoyable walk.
