Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club

  •  The impressive location of Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club awaits you on the Chanonry Peninsula in the ‘Black Isle’.

This Scottish links golf course enjoys breath taking views over the Moray Firth, only 20 minutes from the City of Inverness and 30 minutes from Castle Stuart Golf Links (which lies directly across the firth).  Recorded as the 15th Oldest Recorded Club in the World (1793) this Championship Links Course offers amazing views from the friendly clubhouse and course itself are simply stunning – you may even see the resident Dolphins whilst you play the 3rd, 4th and 5th holes whilst on the course. The course was re-designed by the five time Open Champion James Braid in 1932 and has hosted no fewer than 10 National Championships since 2010.  The hospitality to any visiting golfer will be very welcoming by members and staff alike who like to go that extra step to ensure that both members and visitors who come to the Club, enjoy their day as much as possible and that their visit here is a memorable one.

Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club were presented (as voted for by the public) with the award of Scotland’s Best Golfing Experience (value for money) in front of over 400 members from the golfing industry in 2017 and 2018 whilst we have also been honoured with the accolade of ‘Golf Club of the Year for Scotland’ as part of the Luxury Travel Guide Lifestyle Awards 2018/2019.  Playing on a true Scottish Links Golf Course such as our own is a must on any golfing trip to the Highlands where we are ranked as No. 34 in Great Britain & Ireland's Top 100 Fun/Enjoyable Golf Courses to play (with over 2,000 courses in GB & I) and we also feature amongst the Top 50 Golf Courses in Scotland (Golf World Magazine).
