Opened to the public in 1989 the course captivates the essence of a classic British design, with immaculate fairways, fast greens and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Comprising of an 18 hole championship golf course in Le Vallon and a charming 9 hole layout at Le Bocage, the Golf Barriere Saint Julien provides a wonderful day of golf which is playable again and again.

Le Vallon is a high quality golf course featuring numerous water hazards which weave their way along the fairways and greens. This 18 hole parkland course stretches to just of 6,000 yards and is a tough course to master. The first 9 holes are fairly straight forward, easing you in to the exciting of the back 9. Look out for the special holes on the 12th, 13th and 18th which will most certainly live long in the memory.
The picturesque views of the surrounding Normandy landscape are a joy to behold as you make your way through the round. Le Bocage is the perfect course for beginners looking to improve their game before challenging the full 18.
The famously fast greens here mean a few putts on the practice green is essential in keeping a good score. The academy is the ideal place to master your all round game with a 50 bay driving range, pitching green, practice bunker and putting green
