Golf Club Asiago

  • The Asiago Golf Club is renowned as one of the most naturally stunning mountain courses in Europe. Designed by Peter Harradine, an architect with vast experience in mountain layouts, the course boasts a prime location, nestled on a plateau of breath-taking views with no drastic elevation changes.

Originally constructed in 1960, this panoramic course was initially built as a 9-holer but due to popular demand, it would be an error not to renovate to offer a full 18-hole course. Players at the Golf Club Asiago will feel totally submerged in the beauty of nature with the design weaving its way through pine forests, natural clearing and wood in the paradise of the Asiago Plateau. The Golf Club Asiago is a course like no other, and a fascinating option on your next Italian golf holiday.

The Golf Club Asiago is simply a stunning course offering a unique golfing experience to all with a variety of tee off options available. The majestic scenery across the golf course comprises of table forests with dense greener, and over wide meadows. This course is certainly gentle in nature, so do not be deterred by its mountainous location! Situated in such an idyllic environment with much of the landscape’s natural features incorporated to create an invigorating round of golf, it does not come as a surprise that the Golf Club Asiago is widely considered to be one of the best golf courses in Europe.

Located at an altitude of 1000 metres, this is a rare course in its entirety. You won’t find such a flat design in the mountains, offering both great playability and wonderful views over the Veneto landscape. Surrounded in the nature paradise of the Asiago Plateau, the Golf Club Asiago provides an invigorating golfing experience you won’t be able to replicate anywhere else.

Two signature holes at the Golf Club Asiago include the 8th hole, the longest hole on the course measuring an impressive 565 metres, and the 11th hole which is widely considered to be the most challenging across the golf course. At the 11th hole, it is encouraged that golfers keep on their toes as they try to overcome an invigorating challenge they are sure not to forget any time soon. Here they must tackle a dog leg lined with dense forestry and a cliff which is subtly intersected by a creek.

The club features world class facilities, a brilliant club house and mouth-watering cuisine, providing an excellent base for a long weekend and more importantly a fantastic golfing experience.
