Golf du Medoc Vignes Course
The Golf du Medoc Resort is a stunning golf venue located in the wine region of Bordeaux, offering two magnificent golf courses on site, Golf du Medoc Chateaux course and Golf du Medoc Vignes course. The Golf du Medoc Resort is the only venue in France whereby both courses regularly feature in the Top 100 in Continental Europe.
The Golf du Medoc Vignes course is a fantastic Par 71 course offering a playability unrivalled by the majority of courses in France. Designed by the Canadian architect Rod Whitman, this superb course was created in 1991 and concludes the 36 special holes here at Golf du Medoc. The course has been embedded into the landscape of this stunning wine region, whilst the heath and pines create a traditional links feel. A fairly long course at just over 6800 yards, where the long pars are finished off with immaculate fast greens surrounding by strategic obstacles. The course will challenge your consistency round the course whilst throwing many hazards across your path. Playable for all standards of golfer, this is the perfect course to perfect your all round game. Les Vignes is just as good as its more well-known sister course, Les Chateaux.
The Golf du Medoc Vignes course has become increasingly popular and has hosted the Grand final of the European Challenge Tour in 2002, 2003 & 2004.
The Golf du Medoc Vignes course, located at the Golf du Medoc resort, offers great diversity, top quality golf and a charming setting, making it a great option on your next French golf holiday.
