The Bonalba course was opened in 1995 and has become a firm favourite in the Alicante region for visiting golfers.
Bonalba has the advantage of having a brilliant 4 star hotel on site. With this, it has the beauty of attracting golfers from the hotel and also visitors from surrounding resorts. It is just a 20 minute drive from Alicante city and half an hour from Benidrom.
The par 72, parkland course, designed by D. Ramón Espinosa is one of the most sort after courses in the area. It’s predominantly wide, rolling fairways have beautiful ocean and mountain views. There is one main feature of the course which can leave visitors with that classic golf frustration. Its bunkers! Whether it be the many surrounding the large Pencross grass greens or the strategically places fairway bunkers, they really provide a true test to every golfer. Its challenges do not end there. From various tee and approach shots, you are faced with five vast lakes which are bought into play on 7 of the 18 holes. Once on the putting surface too, you are challenged by some subtle, but deceiving undulation. If you can shoot to you handicap here, you have to walk off a happy golfer.

Course Info
Of the 6,096 meters (off the yellows) 18 holes, the front 9 is slightly shorter than the back and is the 9 you need to think about a little more. Shot selection is key to avoid the many hazards. From the 12th onwards there is a little more space and the holes are slightly longer so you can open the shoulders!
Along with the golf course comes its fantastic practice facilities. With professional groups being a key part Bonalba’s market, they have maintained their facilities superbly. A very well kept putting green outside the pro shop and fully equipped driving range, allows the keenest of golfer all the practice they may need before their round.
This is a course that looks after any golfer, with buggies available in the pro shop for those that do not wish to walk, plus manual and electric trollies for those that are happy to. Club Hire is available for anybody that does not want to carry their clubs around all holiday, which can be used on the course or for any tuition with the in house professional.
