Pyle and Kenfig is undoubtedly one of the best links courses in Wales.

You can experience breath-taking views of the Welsh mountains as well as Rest bay, Sker House and the Bristol Channel.

The course is situated in a wonderful stretch of golfing country providing your round here with the perfect backdrop. This course blends effortlessly into its landscape with many natural hazards including hillocks, valleys and towering dunes.

Pyle and Kenfig is laid out as two loops of nine, and it is wise to try and score as well as you possibly can on the first nine holes as the second nine are a stern test of golf and it is difficult to score close to your handicap on them especially when the wind is fierce. Without a doubt, the stretch of holes from the 12th to the 16th are all show-stoppers with incredible views and challenging layouts.

Pyle & Kenfig is an excellent course that is kept in fantastic condition and should definitely be added to any golfing itinerary based in the South Wales region.

It was a great weekend, thank you very much for your help. The team at golf escapes have been excellent and made the organisation of the weekend really easy. We did participate in the BBQ, it was nice that filled the hole after a very windy 18 holes though. The courses were lovely, well-kept with really nice club houses. The golf pros knew who we were and were really helpful. The hotel was in a great location, easy to get to both courses and the town centre. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of choice. The rooms were comfortable and big enough for two people sharing.

Golf Escapes were all amazing…

Golf Escapes were all amazing at arranging a wonderful weekend for my husband and his fellow friends to celebrate the upcoming wedding of our best friend, the team were super-efficient with phone calls & paperwork for the weekend, the St Pierre hotel was exactly what the group were looking for, despite the awful weather, a great time was had by all, and we’d definitely use golf escapes again, as the value for money & service was second to none.
