The Dorset Golf & Country Club - Championship Course
The Championship 27 hole Golf Course was designed by the prolific designer Martin Hawtree (re-designer of The Open Courses for the R&A) and the three loops of Lakeland, Parkland and Woodland present a challenge for all standards of golfer.
With four tees available to play on the course can measure anywhere from 6,000 yards all the way up to a monstrous 7048. The greens are all USGA Spec which are large and undulating, combined with signature clover shape bunkers it makes playing a sheer delight. In previous winters the Resort has stayed on Main Greens and Main Tee’s throughout, meaning whenever you go, you are assured of playing proper golf all year round. This is a testament to the great drainage and the courses condition. The large air conditioned Clubhouse and restaurant offer a great selection of food and drinks all day long. There are no 'hills to climb' making it suitable for all ages and abilities.
