Coulsdon Manor Golf Course
Coulsdon Manor Golf Course is a stunning par-70 golf course situated within 140 acres of beautiful parkland. The course was designed by top PGA designer Harry S. Colt and the course extends to over 6,073 metres making it a fair challenge for golfers of all handicaps.
A great thing about Coulsdon Manor Golf Course is that its fairways always run true as they are always in immaculate condition. The fairways along the course are quite forgiving but there are some very challenging holes later in the course which can cause heavy damage to your scorecard. Whilst you take on Coulsdon Manor Golf Course you will be blissfully unaware of the fact that you are just 15 miles from the hustle and bustle of Central London until you see the fantastic views over that way which means that this is an accessible course but one that you can enjoy in peace and quiet. There is no denying that this course is not the most challenging that you could play in England but it offers an enjoyable round and one that you can take your time on to enjoy the views across Central London and the surrounding landscapes which makes it a great holiday course as it is one that will be enjoyed by golfers of all handicaps.

Although there is no specific clubhouse for golfers, you are more than welcome to use the hotel’s bar and there is normally a great deal on food and drink specifically for golfers so you can enjoy the hotel’s lovely atmosphere as well as a post-round drink and snack easily here.
Although the course is not particularly challenging, there are some interesting and difficult holes which can make the round a bit of a test, particularly for those with higher handicaps. The 2nd hole is slightly uphill and in order to get to the green, you must navigate your ball over the bunkers that are surrounding the green. The signature hole of the course and possibly the most picturesque is considered to be the 6th which is a par 3 where there are bunkers awaiting any errant shots to the left of the fairways and if you hit too far to the right then you will struggle to get onto the green with your following shot!
The back nine holes finishes with four difficult holes which means that you should make sure to score well early in your round to avoid a disappointing scorecard. This is a superb holiday course and a round here is a wonderful addition to a fantastic stay at Coulson Manor Hotel.
