Crans Sur Sierre Golf Club Golf Holidays
The Crans Sur Sierre Golf Club is home to the legendary Severiano Bellasteros course, annual host to the European Masters, a major event on the European Tour.
Constructed in 1906, the golf course is set in high altitude, in a majestic setting amongst the peaks in Switzerland and promises a round like no other. Plateaued at 1500 metres high, overlooking the Rhone Valley and with the Matterhorn and Mount Blanc in the distance, the views from the course are breath-taking.
The world greatest players have challenged Crans Sur Sierre during the European Masters, whilst the course is always maintained to the highest standards between the golfing months of May to October. Situated near the Swiss mountains, the course hibernates in the winter months, whilst the greens flourish in the summer. Various golf magazines have labelled the layout as one of the nicest in the world.
The 18-hole Severiano Ballesteros course requires skill, precision and consistent play from every golfer that challenges its fairways. A great challenge for low handicappers, whilst high handicappers will certainly enjoy the magnificent views from the course. Set in an incredible setting in the Swiss Alps, the course will live long in the memory and must be on every golfers bucket list.
