d'Este at Konopiste Golf Resort

  • The two golf courses located at the biggest golf resort in the Czech Republic, the Konopiste Golf Resort, are of the highest quality. The D’Este is considered to be more manageable than its neighbour golf course at a length of 6,695 yards and a par of 72. However that is not to say this course does not provide a challenge.

Named after Archduke Franz Ferdinand d’Este, the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Throne, the d’Est Golf Course is the younger of the two and boasts four different tee sets making it a perfect course for all calibres of golfer. The course enjoys a rolling hillside setting, surrounded by an enchanting forest and a classic European meadow. An exciting combination of both parkland and links style course, the d’Este provides challenging elements with a variety of water hazards and hidden bunkers to avoid. Watch out for the 9th hole where your accuracy must be pin point to make the tricky island green!

The 18th hole is another signature hole upon the golf course, where the player is invited to play in a blind spot. If the golfer chooses not to venture up the top of the hill to make their shot, they must play this spot blinded by the hill. Over the hill there are with two ponds either side of the green.

This is a particularly long par 4, and a large tree positioned directly on the fairway only inconveniences the player further. This course does not miss an opportunity to challenge its visitors; an impressive six holes are all affected by water hazards.

The d’Este golf course is made accessible directly from Prague, as it is just 40 minutes away from Prague city centre.
