East Brighton Golf Club

East Brighton Golf Club is set within the lush Sussex downland and is a brilliantly maintained course which can be played all year round. This course can be considered to be a firm but fair challenge to golfers of all abilities and boasts beautiful surroundings and an interesting layout of holes.
The course at East Brighton Golf Club was designed by James Braid over 100 years ago and in order to score well on the course you must be hitting accurately as the wind often comes into play due to the course’s hillside position. The course is not an overly long course at 6,426 yards and there are a fair few very short holes but equally as many par-5s which makes it a varied and interesting round of golf. With a challenging layout with some strategically placed bunkers and fast fairways which can be made even more challenging by the wind, this is a brilliant course with some stunning views out to sea on most of the holes and of the surrounding Sussex countryside. Halfway through the round, you can enjoy a snack and a beverage at the Halfway Hut which is a very enjoyable experience, especially if the wind is up and you need a few minutes of shelter!
