The Par 73 Dunes is one of the top ranked links courses in Ireland and is consistently ranked as one of the top 100 golf courses in the UK and a top 15 links course in the entirety of Ireland….and there are quite a few to choose from!
Enniscrone Golf Club dates back to 1918 and was originally formed as a 9-hole links course, however the impressive work by Eddie Hackett who transformed the layout into the 18 holes, saw Enniscrone change its fortunes into the striking design we see today. Donald Steel went one further in and finished the additional 9 holes (Scurmore) to make the full 27, completing the golfing experience at this fantastic golf club.
Situated on the Bartragh Peninsula which is renowned as one of the finest links terrains in the world and is famous for the awe inspiring sunsets each evening. Measuring at over 7,000, the course features sloping fairways, huge dune bunkers, and a consistent sea breeze when an accurate approach to the green will prevail. Stunning sea views are found throughout the course with the ocean and coastline making a picturesque backdrop across the full 18.
