The Font del Llop golf course is located in a unique location, nestled within a steep sided valley. Golfers can enjoy a fantastically varied round of golf as each hole has been constructed to maximise the potential of the natural landscape. Due to its position carved into a valley, natural water hazards come into play at many holes. A river runs through the course of the golf course, creating five small lakes.
The front nine, known as the "wolf’s watering hole”, consist of a variety of challenging par fives with water hazards on either side of the fairway. On the other hand, the back nine holes features back to back par threes stretching over two-hundred metres from the back tees. Each of the greens have their own true character, making the putter the most important club in the bag.

The signature holes on the back nine includes the par three 16th and 17th. The greens of these are positioned back to back, measuring to an impressive two hundred metres from the back tees.
The Font del Llop, designed by the renowned golfing architects Marco Martin and Blake Stirling, boasts a distinctive layout consisting of the perfect blend of an American design and a Scottish layout. This par-72 golf course measures to an impressive 6,313 metres from the white tees.

The architects made a conscious effort to retain the landscape’s authentic beauty, and they certainly succeeded. Despite this golf course being relatively new, opened in 2010, the Font del Llop has already earnt itself a fantastic reputation and is widely considered to be a must-play golf course in the Costa Blanca.
