Golf Costa Brava
The Golf Costa Brava was one of the very first courses in Northern Spain, built back in 1968. Since then, the Golf Costa Brava has been partly responsible for setting the bar for the high standard of golf that remains there today. Despite the rapid increase in popularity for golf in the Costa Brava, the Golf Costa Brava has managed to attract a huge number of golfers to its fairways in competition with other golf courses.
Golfers can enjoy a fantastic round of golf at the Golf Costa Brava with two varied loops of nine holes. The front nine holes are slightly more challenging than the back nine which throws players right into the round from the get-go. The challenge here is typically characterised with the narrow fairways, lined with dense fauna and forestry to capture any wayward shots. With a few dog legs thrown into the mix, golfers should prepare to bring their A game to this golf course. In contrast, on the back nine holes, the golf course opens out a bit so that golfers can appreciate the stunning landscape. Fauna and forestry are abundant at the Golf Costa Brava, creating a peaceful and idyllic round of golf to be appreciated by all.
Many of the golf courses in the Costa Brava are typically Mediterranean, but the Golf Costa Brava has a distinct tinge of a traditional British members’ golf course which may account for its consistent popularity over the years. Whilst this golf course may be relatively flat and walkable for most, do not be led into a false sense of security; with many varied and strategically placed hazards along the way, golfers are sure to have an unforgettable round of golf here.
