Gower Golf Club
Gower Golf Club, located on the stunning Gower peninsula, is a cracking course set on the rolling countryside of southern Wales.
Easily accessible via the M4 and the vibrant town of Swansea, Gower Golf Club is nestled in the picturesque Gower peninsula. Throughout the 18 holes you will observe fantastic views of the Loughor Estuary and the surrounding West Wales coastline.
Created in 1995 and designed by Donald Steel, this Par 71 course produces a spectacular challenge where you will have to utilise every club in your armoury. The key hazards here are formed in the various undulations, strategically placed trees, and water coming in to play on several holes.
Despite its fairly new design the course has matured into a cracking layout and one of the best on the Welsh golf circuit. The greens here have been constructed abiding by USGA standards meaning great playability all year round, even in those wetter Wales months.
Gower Golf Club features practice and tuition facilities, including covered range bays and a short game practice area, ensuring you are fully equipped to tackle the challenge ahead. The Beacons restaurant, located in the former farmhouse, serves up a superb club sandwich, accompanied by a range of beverages to suit all tastes.
Gower Golf Club is a fairly new addition to the collection of superb golf courses in Wales and offers panoramic views of the nature reserve of Gower.
