There is no doubt that this is a great course in great condition and boasts so many brilliantly designed holes but there are a few special holes on the course. The signature hole of Kinsale Golf Club is the 15th hole which is a par 3 which is a challenging one with the green protected by a small stream and if you hit too far then you will end up in the out of bounds behind the green. You are sheltered in the tee box so make sure that you check the wind to avoid wayward shots.
This is a lovely course and is finished by two very different holes, the 17th is a very difficult par 4 with many hazards but the 18th is a par 5 with a generous fairway but is a little tricky to reach the green on the 18th due to it being protected by a lake.
Make sure that when you are planning your next golf escape to Ireland this course is one on the itinerary.
