The La Sella Golf Course comprises of three unique loops of nine (the Llebeig, Gregal and Mestral) with different landscapes and characteristics. The golf course has more than enough variance in its play to keep you entertained for numerous rounds. The Llebeig loop of nine is characterised by its spectacular views of the Montgo National Park and its greens are dotted with tall pine trees. The Gregal is the flattest group of nine, however that is not to say that it is not challenging; players here must successfully manoeuvre themselves around an array of strategically placed water hazards. Lastly, the Mestral nine are located in the north of the golf course. The terrain here is more elevated than previously in the other holes, meaning players can enjoy spectacular sea views. The wide fairways here accommodate golfers wanting to enjoy the panoramic scenery and appreciate the naturistic setting of the golf course.
Nine of the holes at the La Sella Golf Course were designed by the Ryder Cup legend, Jose Maria Olazabal. He designed the golf course to reflect a game where recovery skills are rewarded; consistent and accurate play is the only way to get around this course unscathed. Should golfers fall short of the green, their best efforts will need to be put into a recovery shot in order to maintain a steady score. However, measuring to just 6,877 yards from the white tees, the La Sella Golf Course is a manageable golf course, easily played by all golfers regardless of their handicap.
