It is set in the foothills of the Almenara mountain range, using the natural terrain to create the hazards with dry ditches, water and well placed bunkers. The views across the Sierra de Almenara are stunning. The course and surrounding area are very well maintained and the fairways are wide although you'll need to strike the ball well. There are 26 white sand bunkers and several ravines requiring carries (long on occasion), to maintain your concentration and keep your game interesting and in places, the shots can be quite tight.
Lorca Golf Resort boasts a 250 metre driving range along with a 300 sq metre and 9 hole putting green, a relaxing and pleasant Club House to enjoy a chilled beer and a fabulous view of the mountains, Golf Pro Shop and bar and restaurant, along with its own Golf Training School.
The course has hosted several tournaments and events, strengthening its position as one of the favourites for professionals and amateurs alike and has received National news coverage as one of Murcia’s best layouts. This course is well worth a visit with its great variety of perfectly integrated native flora and fauna, cared for and respected to ensure that you enjoy every round of golf here.
