Designed by the world renowned golf course architect Peter Harradine in 2012, this 9 hole championship golf course can be played twice to make a challenging par 72.

With four varying tee boxes, this course invites players of all standards to enjoy this spectacular course.  

With fast greens, several bunkers, water hazards and a monster 663 opening hole from the back tees, this is by no means a short and easy 9 hole course! This 9 hole course covers over 3,700 yards, and the greens of the course weave themselves in and out of the natural lakes. The course architect, Peter Harradine, tactfully placed each hole to be impacted by the six lakes on the course. In Harradine’s usual style, this course has been designed to encourage players to get the ball in play off the tee, then the course turns on them and throws some difficult approach shots. These tricky shots are most prominent in the holes where natural lakes are present.

A huge benefit of this course includes the ability for golfers to play until midnight as each hole is floodlit. Therefore golfers can enjoy the stunning Dubai skyline whilst experiencing this fabulous golf course. With its ideal location in downtown Dubai, players can also enjoy some of the best views of the Burj Khalifa which acts as a breath-taking back drop for the course.

Course Info

The Track golf course was designed purely for the golfer’s enjoyment; it does not enforce strict dress codes, and exudes a relaxed atmosphere. The casual nature of this course is further shown in its fundamental design; four different tee options are present on each hole therefore the entire course can accommodate all golfers, regardless of their ability. It certainly welcomes all players with open arms.
Practice facilities at the Merydan Golf Club include a driving range with an impressive length of 400 yards, and features 15 bays. This driving range makes the perfect base for your round of golf. Furthermore, the practice facilities also include a putting green with nine alternative pin positions that reflect the same construction as the golf course. Golfers will find it easy to relax after experiencing this magnificent course by indulging in a cool beer, whilst watching live broadcasts of major sporting events at the Qube Sports Bar in the Merydan club house.
Possibly the best feature of this course includes the Merydan Academy by Troon. This academy offers an array of tuition class packages to suit all players; whether they hold a skill set of a pro or an amateur, they will certainly be welcomed here.
