Oporto Golf Club

The eldest golf club in Portugal and one of the eldest in Europe, Oporto is steeped in history and tradition having been founded by British exporters in 1890.
Oporto’s greens are traditionally tight so accuracy on your approach will help you score well, the course is also as close to a links course as anywhere else in Portugal with undulating fairways and the first four holes running alongside the beach. Relatively short, measuring less than 6,000 yards from the back tees, this is definitely one not to miss for serious golfers. After finishing your round be sure to head to the club house which is full of history and rare golfing artefacts.
