Parkstone Golf Club

Parkstone Golf Club is one of the most well known golf courses along the South coast. This striking golf course, located on the outskirts of Poole and Bournemouth, is a stunningly mature heathland layout featuring lakes, mature trees and offers spectacular views over the picturesque Poole Harbour and the coastal region of Isle of Purbeck.
Founded in 1909 and enlarged by the incredible work by James Braid, the golf course sits proudly in the top 100 courses in the UK by both Golf Monthly and Golf World. This highly imaginative layout offers a varied and intriguing test of golf whereby every hole presents a unique challenge in a stunning setting along the South coast.
Parkstone is set similarly to a traditional links course with an undulating terrain which is sandy in parts. Mature pines flank the majority of the fairways, whilst a wild heathland surrounds the layout. Described by Reg Whitcombe. A former Open Champion, famously stated “there is no better place”, the course is renowned as one of the best in Dorset.
A round at Parkstone is a must to finish your next Bournemouth golf tour in style. A wonderful course to add to your Bournemouth golfing itinerary.
