Sandford Springs

Sandford Springs Golf Club boasts three loops of nine holes and is situated in the rolling hills of Watership Down in Hampshire. The course boasts an enviable location where you can enjoy panoramic views over Berkshire and Hampshire.
The course was designed by the famous Hawtree & Son firm and in 1989, the first 18 holes were opened by Sir Nick Faldo. With three different loops of nine holes, the layout is varied and poses an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities. The Park loop requires you to play strategically and place your shots well despite the wind that is often blowing on this loop due to its height. The Wood loop is the second loop and is arguably the most difficult out of the three loops here, you must carefully navigate your way round the loop with its elevation changes and challenging holes. The final loop is The Lakes which is tricky to play due to the fact that there are many strategically placed water hazards along the loop. This is a great golf club with a wide variety of holes and challenges to take on which makes it the perfect addition to your next golf break in the UK.
