Siam Country Club, Plantation Course
Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation was built during the renovation of Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course, and opened in April 2008. Designed by Lee Schmidt, the plantation is a 27-hole golf course and is very different from the Old Course.
Formerly a tapioca and pineapple plantation, the courses geographic style includes rough valleys that separate its fairways. The course was named in honour of the famous Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations. Fairways, bunkers and greens are very different from any other course in Thailand, the layout is perched high on the rolling hills of the landscape following a winding course of the mountains, with a spectacular view over Pattaya and the Gulf of Thailand. Siam Country Club is one of the best maintained golf courses in Thailand and the course is without doubt one of the most difficult and is considered to be a course that every golfer must play! The exclusive Bird Wings clubhouse sits on top of the rolling hills and offers 360 views of the golf course, mountain back drops and spectacular views over Pattaya. The plantation café located in the clubhouse is modern and contemporary designed.
