Tony Jacklin Signature Course
Marrakech is an ideal course for all year-round golf, in the Moroccan sunshine at excellent value. The region continues to grow in popularity with the golfing community, and the Tony Jacklin Signature Course will only add to the excitement of Marrakech.
The club features 27 challenging holes, the 18 holes at the Tony Jacklin Signature Course, and the only 9-hole par 3 course in Morocco. The design compliments the landscape, whilst featuring the snow-capped Atlas Mountains as a captivating backdrop, and surrounded by ornamental bougainvillea vines. Look out for the signature 16th, featuring a testing island green, reminiscent to the 17th at the Players Championship at Sawgrass.
Tony Jacklin, the two-time Major Championship winner, has designed this course in a distinct desert style with a fantastic blend of sand and water to create a unique golfing experience. This course measures an impressive 7,100 yards from the back tees, however amateur players must not be daunted by this; with five alternative tee-off options the Tony Jacklin Signature Course opens its arms to all golfers, regardless of their skillset. Furthermore, many holes on this course are characterised with wide fairways, meaning many wayward shots can easily be rescued. However, this cannot be too heavily relied on; several strategically placed bunkers can still threaten your scorecard. Jacklin was clearly looking to accommodate all golfers when designing this course, yet the challenging greens create an unforgettable test that can be enjoyed by all.

This course certainly offers a risk and reward system, and never fails to keep all players on their toes. One of the biggest rewards on the course includes the incredible mountain views to be enjoyed from the clubhouse terrace. The golfing scene in Morocco has been rapidly growing, and a course must include something distinctive in order to stand out, and Jacklin was fully aware of this when designing this course. With the perfect transition between sand and water, a round on this course will stay in your mind for years to come. The Tony Jacklin course is one of the most talked about golf courses this side of the Atlantic and a must feature on your next Moroccan golf holiday.
