Zimbali Country Club

Found a mere 45 minute drive up the coast road north from Durban, you will find the Zimbali Country Club, a gated residential community, nestling amongst the hills on the edge of the Indian Ocean.

The coastal forest course (Par 72 – 6,524 yards off the back tees) was designed by Tom Weiskopf and is a challenge to golfers of all handicaps - even off the White club tees, which shortens the course by some 500 yards. Buggies (with SatNav systems) are mandatory due to the distances between some holes.

Accommodation at Zimbali consists of the exclusive Zimbali Lodge which is perfect for couples, and is just a short buggy ride from the Country Club and Pro Shop, whilst the larger Fairmont Zimbali Hotel is perfect for families and groups with a wide range of bars and restaurants. The incredible Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom is a short drive or taxi ride.
