Al Zorah
Opened in December 2015, Al Zorah Golf Club is the one of newest golf courses in the UAE however that does not mean this course is anything less than world standard. An abundance of sandy areas and mangroves creates a unique landscape that must be experienced on your next golf holiday to Dubai.
Designed by the Nicklaus design group and managed by Troon Golf the Al Zorah Golf Club is receiving superb reviews from all that make the short journey from Dubai. The par 72 course is laid out amongst striking mangroves with pristine fairways and beautifully presented greens. The Nicklaus Design team have worked hard to protect the natural environment and the end result pays testament to this. Al Zorah is spread out across 5.4 million square metres of captivating coastal land, and the natural lagoons are home to a variety of marine life and birds. Although not as convenient to reach as the other courses in Dubai, the journey is well worth it making Al Zorah Golf Club a serious consideration for any golf holiday in Dubai.

A signature feature of the Al Zorah course includes the 2 kilometre tidal lagoon which due to its rich wildlife, has been designated as a conservation area. This course makes a notable effort to preserve their ecosystems, something that is hugely important in today’s society. Therefore it comes as no surprise that the course has been presented with Golf Inc. magazine’s ‘Development of the Year’ award.
The standard of Al Zorah’s practice facilities are unbeatable. The flawlessly maintained two teed 350 metre driving range creates the ideal warm up location for golfers, of for some it is perfect to fine-tune their swing. This driving range can host up to 50 players. Alternatively, players can visit the short game area which features greens, bunkers and several tees to give golfers an opportunity to play the shots similar to the ones in the actual Al Zorah course. The same concept has been carried over to the chipping and putting green; it is the ideal place to practice chipping, bunker play and putting in the same way they would on the course.
