Ras Al Khaimah Golf Holidays

Located less than an hour’s drive from Dubai International Airport, Ras Khaimah is an excellent place to play spectacular golf in the UAE without the premium price tag of Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Ras Al Khaimah golf holidays provide the warm weather, luxurious resorts and high calibre of golf you would expect from the the main two United Arab Emirates, but a fraction of the price.

The city itself is majestic, with the pearly white Sheikh Zayed Mosque overlooking the promenade, filled with fabulous restaurants ready to make your acquaintance. With over 7000 years of history, Ras Al Khaimah is one of the most authentic destinations in the Middle East.

The golf course here is the Al Hamra Golf Club, a picturesque championship course and former host to the DP World Tour Championship, located alongside the Arabian Gulf, offering a links style course, with plenty of water hazards thrown in. Al Hamra is known as the best Links course in the UAE and is definitely worth the journey across the desert into Ras Al Khaimah. The spectacular Al Zorah Golf Course is only a 35 minute drive, and is well worth the venture to make you Ras Al Khaimah stay a mutli golf course itinerary.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, the resort, hotel and golf courses were fabulous (as was the weather). A great location which suited us all, the hotel was clean and the staff most welcoming and helpful. The food is great and lots of choices and as much as you like. The golf courses were challenging in their own way but in good condition and we would be happy to play both North and South again. All in all a great holiday and thank you and your team for arranging the trip for us.

〝We can't speak highly enough〞

Just returned from two really enjoyable weeks in Islantilla. Though the hotel has been taken over by Hilton, the staff are all retained and nothing is too much trouble. Can't fault the facilities, the food, the clubhouse, and the three courses are a joy, (extra balls for hole 2 on the blue course). The whole holiday went so smoothly and we can't speak highly enough of the friendly help and excellent communications from Golf Escapes with all aspects of the holiday. Wouldn't bother to book with anyone else.
