Telford Golf Course

Telford Golf and Country Club boasts a fantastic championship golf course which is situated in an idyllic location set within 170 acres of Shropshire countryside within the World Heritage site that is the Ironbridge Gorge.
The course was designed by the excellent John Harris and Brown Griffiths and the club opened for play in 1976 and has gone from strength to strength since, building a good reputation for being an excellent course and golf club. The course is a stunning parkland course which features many different hazards including both water and the trees which line the fairways and lie in wait for any errant shots. Another great thing about this course is that the greens are up to USPGA standard and are very quick as they are always in impeccable condition which can make the course harder but will always make it more enjoyable. The course is fairly long at over 6,700 yards and boasts an interesting layout with tree-lined fairways, open greens and strategic water hazards. This is a fantastic course which will pose an interesting challenge to golfers of all abilities which makes it the perfect course for a great stay and play holiday whilst you enjoy a luxurious and relaxing stay within the Telford Golf and Hotel resort.
